SmartTrainer (“the App,” “we,” “us”) is a business training and operations tool provided to authorized restaurant locations and their staff. This policy explains what information the App collects, how we use it, and the choices available to you. SmartTrainer is offered under multiple restaurant brands; the same practices described here apply across all of them.
The App requires a valid account to sign in. Accounts are provisioned by us or by your employer. The App is not intended for general consumer use, and no meaningful functionality is available without authentication. The features available to you depend on your role and assigned location(s).
Voice commands are processed on the device for speech recognition; raw audio recordings are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. When you ask a question, the recognized text of your query may be sent to our secure backend to retrieve a relevant answer from your organization’s approved training content.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, messages, financial information, or health information. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
All data transmitted between the App and our services is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols (HTTPS/TLS). Authentication is handled by Amazon Cognito.
We retain operational and diagnostic data for as long as needed to provide and improve the service. To request access to, or deletion of, data associated with your account, contact us at the address below. Because accounts are administered on behalf of your employer, some requests may be routed through your organization’s administrator.
The App is a workplace tool intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
